Bat Paper
In the fall of 2019 my search dog, Willow, and I were recruited to a project recording bat fatality data at a wind farm in Indiana. The experience triggered concern for our native bats so I began researching the causes of the problem, exploring the many solutions being applied, and thinking about what else could be done to reduce the conflict between bats and wind turbines. This paper is the result of that work.
